What does a Civil Engineer do? • A civil Engineer is mainly responsible for public works and projects. • He is apposite for the programming , planning, constructing and maintenance of: buildings, roads, bridges, ports, damns, airports, water management etc. • His work benefits the public. • Being a Civil Engineer is a big responsibility. • Human lives are depended on him. • That’ s why a Civil Engineer should be highly trained and very skilled. He must work very carefully. • It is very important to create structures, which are safe and tolerant. • This profession is very demanding, but it is also very exciting, interesting and creative.

  3. Water Resources Engineering • Civil Engineering has many disciplines. One of them is Water Resources Engineering. • This profession is responsible for the planning, development and management of water resources. • It ensures access to clean water. • Moreover, with the help of earlier technology, wastewaters can be recycled. In this way people can save water. • The management of water is significant for the development of a country. • Therefore, it’ s very important for a country to manage its water resources in the right way.
