This software helps students who require extra assistance when reading or writing, supporting them in developing their literacy skills and allowing them to enjoy greater independence. • -from the TDSB Assistive Technology page

READ AND WRITE 10 GOLD:THE BASICS • Part of the TDSB academic image (i.e. on all computers in your school) • Available free of charge to all students in the TDSB for home download and use • On-going training sessions throughout the year • The Spec Ed Assistive Technology Team has created a collection of video tutorials for educators. Each video focuses on a particular tool in Read and Write Gold and explains how to use the tool to support specific learning needs.
