  1. TASHA’S ARTISAN FOODS

  2. About Us The thing with good, fresh, preservative-free food is that the taste will always linger on; it provides a memorable experience, one which makes you stop and savour the food and moment. We are talking about TAF’s wholesome bakes, crunchy nutritious granola, divine brownies, hearty breads and more. Truly great food goes beyond the taste - it must be nutritional, healthy and pleasurable. Our flavourful, carefully sourced local ingredients, coupled with organic flour and grains are why TAF’s bakes look, feel, and smell so natural.

  3. Glutenfree Mocha Shortbread Cookies These Glutenfree Mocha Shortbread Cookies were so good, I made them with all-purpose flour, whole- wheat flour and then decided to go the gluten- free route with my trusted buckwheat ,mixed with some amaranth flour. Amaranth and jaggery add a new level of complexity in taste, very deep and earthy. This is complimented very well by the mocha flavours of chocolate and coffee. A dash of cinnamon softens everything down as does the butter along with honey, making these absolutely irresistible.

  4. Lavender Buckwheat Jam Scones The Lavender Buckwheat Jam Scones were lightly sweetened, delicately flavoured , wonderfully tender and buttery. Just the way they should be. All that jam oozing out, crumbly dough, simply added to the rustic charm. We are looking at comforting homey easy baking here rather than polished perfection. The coconut oil and coconut cream should be well chilled. While the quality of scones was not compromised at all, I would recommend this step anyhow.

  5. Pumpkin Orange Pancakes These Pumpkin Orange Pancakes are really so simple to make and very fast too. They are no longer a weekend special for us. As long as I’ve done a five-minute prep the night before, they are a breeze to make in the morning. One container with dry ingredients, one with wet. Whisk them all well in the morning and in no time at all, you have a nice warm stack ready. Now if only getting my kids up and ready was that easy.

  6. Fig & Date Smoothie This Fig & Date Smoothie made such a compelling case at home, that it just had to be shared. With the changing weather, we are out of the refreshing , juicy summer fruits. Now we have cartloads of pears, apples, papayas, pomegranates, persimmons and fresh figs All of which go so well with warming spices like cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon. If you can’t get fresh figs for your smoothie, simply soak 2- 3 dried ones in a little warm water for a few minutes.
