  1. Should people who are obese be able to sue fast food companies? By: KibreEthridge

  2. What was my topic? • My topic was about obesity in general but I needed to be more specific so I focused more on why it was being caused which led me to my topic question: “Should people who are obese be able to sue fast food companies?”

  3. What research I discovered… • I discovered that there are many types of information out there that can support either direction of my question. • I also discovered both the affirmative and negative sides to my topic question making me versatile so that I may provide unbiased information in answering my question

  4. What surprised me was….. • Of all the dangerous effects obesity can cause and how deadly and serious it really is • The salt levels • False advertisement(Burger King) • Pricing • Sixty-one percent of overweight 5- to10-year-olds already have at least • one risk factor for heart disease, and 26% have two or more risk factors. • 1 out of every 10 kids(10%) between the ages 2-5 were diagnosed to be obese in 2004-2010.

  5. The problems that I had in English III: • Finding factual information that supported my thesis; which was that I do believe that people who are obese should be able to sue fast food companies • Being able to condense the variety of information that I found into strong key points • Paper(length) • Finding an appropriate topic • Constructing an organized outline

  6. How they link….. The merging link between my research and my product is that in my product I directed a group of skits that consisted of actors who demonstrated different scenarios about obesity through “improv”. Also the message, theme and topic are all related to my research. (….see outline)
