  3. CSPA Implementation Project In 2014: • Developing CSPA compliant services • Developing and implementing the CSPA catalogue • Training and guidelines

  4. Developing CSPA Compliant Services Options for CSPA Services 1) Existing services that could be shared as CSPA services2) Wrapping existing tools into a CSPA service3) Build a new CSPA Service What makes a good candidate service for the CSPA Implementation Project?Proposed services to be included in the project should : - Perform a core statistical business function, i.e. in the scope of GSBPM, e.g. imputation or coding. - Deliverable within the ~10 month timeframe of the project. - The service should be stand alone (as much as possible): it should have few dependencies and ideally be built on a limited number of well established technologies.

  5. Potential Candidates

  6. Beyond 2014 projects -challenges • Timing & capacity • Governance sourcing/support models • Licenses and IP

  7. Beyond 2014 projects -challenges • Risk • Technology stack and jurisdictional standards

  8. Possible Solutions • Start small, accept smaller risks • Develop governance frameworks in parallel • Use established frameworks for sharing (creative commons) • Rolling set of integration projects
