  8. Intuition? • What is intuition? • Etymology: • Middle English intuycyon, from Late Latin intuition-, intuitio act of contemplating, from Latin intuēri to look at, contemplate, from in- + tuēri to look at • Date: • 15th century • 1: quick and ready insight • 2 a: immediate apprehension or cognition b: knowledge or conviction gained by intuition c: the power or faculty of attaining to direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/intuition

  9. Intuition! • Everybody has experienced and uses intuition, not always aware of it • Intuition is not neutral, it’s colored by developmental level, worldview, emotions… • Intuition is inner knowing colored by the inner space it is showing up in… • A profound spiritual experience can be a nature fairy blessing or an angelic message, an irrational daydream, inner God/Goddess experience, experience of eternal Love, or even emptiness

  10. Exploring Intelligence • What is intelligence? • Give some examples of intelligence(s) • What is it useful for? • How to access it? • What kind of intelligences do you know of, or have you heard of? • What intelligence(s) area are you well developed at?

  11. Intelligence? • 1 a (1): the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations :reason; also: the skilled use of reason (2): the ability to apply knowledge to manipulate one's environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective criteria (as tests) b Christian Science: the basic eternal quality of divine Mind c: mental acuteness :shrewdness • 2 a: an intelligent entity; especially:angel b:intelligent minds or mind <cosmic intelligence> • 3: the act of understanding :comprehension

  12. Intuitive Intelligence?! • Intuition: Inner knowing • Intelligence: the ability to deal with new or trying situations / the act of understanding • “The ability to deal with new or trying situations with use of inner knowing” ? • “the act of understanding one’s inner knowledge” ?

  13. Intuitive Intelligence?! • One’s Intuitive Intelligence development can be high or low or average…. • But an “intelligent Intuition” is using your inner knowing AND your common sense! • So…Anouk says: “Intuitive intelligence”= • use of intuition consciously and • combined with ratio, feelings and other sources of info.

  14. Intuitive Intelligence?! • Great!! • So…? What is it exactly? How to use it? When to trust it? Let’s find out in this Intuitive Intelligence course!!

  15. Assinment zero visualisation • Experience part of your intuition • Surface new information on why you’re here • Have pen and paper close by • Get comfortable and close eyes or look down • I will ask questions, become aware of what answers surface. Don’t actively do a lot.

  16. Experiences & Questions? On the process Or the content

  17. We need a Framework to not get lost in translation… • Spiritual has different meanings • From very religious, to superstitious, a special shared and deep moment, to a line of human intelligence (SI), to a developmental stage…! • How confusing is that…?! • Science also has different meanings: • Deep science and narrow science • Scientific method vs. scientifically accepted subjects (crop circles, near death experiences, Psychology some time ago…!)

  18. Human stages of learning All stages transcend, and include the previous ones… 1 You learn to stay alive 2 You learn to belong – There is ONE Thruth 3 You learn to think for yourself (IQ) – My opinion is right 4 You learn to feel and empathize (EQ) - Everybody is equal and has their own truth (and judging is bad!) 5 You learn to integrate all previous truths – Some truths are more true than others, because of a greater care and understanding

  19. Integral Framework • “Nobody is smart enough to be wrong all of the time..” • So, there’s a truth in everything, every theory, worldview, experience… • …but it is a partial truth. • Let’s find all the truths and find the development of truth!

  20. Integral Framework “Nobody is smart enough to be wrong all of the time..” • The framework helps map all the partial truths and leads to a dynamic integral worldview to make sense of it all • It is AQAL; All Quadrants, all Levels, all Lines, all Types, all States… But don’t confuse the map with the territory!

  21. Integral Intuitive Intelligence • With this map I thee wed… • So we will explore science, spirituality, intuition, consciousness, human development, ancient wisdom, subtle energy experiences… with an integral travel companion!
