  2. Objective • The purpose of this power point is to show the basic steps on how to start embroidering a pillowcase. • I will show you how to get started. • In the end you will have a beautiful pillowcase that you did by yourself!

  3. Supplies • Embroidery thread • Embroidery needle • Tracing paper with design on it • Pillowcase • Scissors • Iron

  4. Step 1 • After the pattern is ironed on to the pillowcase, choose the colour you would like to start with.

  5. Step 2 • Cut a piece of embroidery thread 6-8 inches long • The thread has six strands, you only need three so divide in half

  6. Step 3 • Thread your needle Use the stitch that best suits the pattern you are working on .

  7. The end result • After many stitches and a lot of time you will end up with a beautiful pillowcase.
