  4. Widener Internet Solution Update High Availability Issue – Virtual IP address drops out, reboot secondary to fix, recreated when Primary is rebooted. Escalated to Top Support Level.

  5. DCIU Internet Solution Update • Cutover on Dec 26th at 10 am • Problem reaching bidirectional 147.31.x.x from Pooled address • Cutover Aborted at 4 pm • Escalated with Fortinet – identified NAT feature to resolve issue • Cutover on Dec 30th at 9 pm

  6. NAT Review • Review Visio drawing to understand the flow of Nat traffic.

  7. Additional Features NOW available • FREE Services now available • Anti-Spam • Anti-Virus • Anti-Virus and Gray ware • A raise of hands please?

  8. Next Step • Finish debugging • Finish moving Old Firewall policies over • Enable IPS features • Complete install of Internet Allot Accounting package • Test VPN features • Upgrade to 3.0 in the summer

Bluecoat Caching Issue Update • Jan 5th – Lost Content Filter URL’s then the Server went down (Categories were still available) • One server with full load, CPU high, sluggish surfing • Widener new servers taken off-line • Pool of three servers created to service Widener and DCIU • Bad server replacement enroot • 4th server to be added to pool

  11. DNS Planning • DCIU replacing current DNS server • DCIU will Firewall new server • Internal IP address 10.10.100.110 will change to 10.15.0.117 • External Registered 147.31.181.40 will not change • Secondary Widener 147.31.60.10 will be tested • Just a heads-up – MORE to follow!
