  5. Grading: Math 1 (Math credit) • 90 – 100: A • 80 – 89: B • 70 – 79: C • 0 – 69: F • Tests: 50% • Quizzes: 20% • Homework: 10% • Final: 20% Home Access Center is a great way for youto stay up to date on your child’s progress. For more information, you can call the front office:(770) 521-7640

  6. Grading: Math 1 Support (elective) • 90 – 100: A • 80 – 89: B • 70 – 79: C • 0 – 69: F • Classwork: 40% • Quizzes: 25% • Notebook: 20% • Final Project: 15% Math 1 Support grades are almost always higher than Math 1 grades. Support grade should always be an A!

Classroom Expectations Students are expected to: • Follow all school rules. • Help make the classroom environment positive and productive. • Treat their peers and teacher with respect. • Put forth their best effort on each assignment. • Be organized, on time, and prepared for class. • Make up missed work promptly. • Seek extra help (from me or from peers) when needed. • Let me know how to make the class better!

  8. Extra Help • Before school, 8:00 – 8:30 • After school, 3:45 – 4:30 RISE (Reteaching Instructional Support Experience) • Mandatory for students with <75 at 4 weeks • Extra help with teacher (before / after school) Textbook • Mathematics 1 (McDougal Littell)
