  4. SciFinder – Search by Substance Identifier

  5. SciFinder - Summary Chemical Substance Record

  6. SciFinder – Substance Detail -- Synonyms and Structure Diagram

  7. SciFinder – Substance Detail -- Number of References & CAS Role CAS roles are powerful CAS indexing terms that allow you to search for precise information on substances.

  8. SciFinder - Substance Detail --Predicted Properties Detailed substance records contain predicted and experimental properties

  9. SciFinder – Substance Detail -- Lipinski and Experimental Properties • The Lipinski criteria for substances that are likely to have good oral bioavailability are: • 5 or fewer hydrogen bond donors (/HD) • 10 or fewer hydrogen bond acceptors (/HAC) • Calculated logP (/LOGP) less than or equal to 5  • Molecular weight (/MW) less than or equal to 500 Experimental Properties include links to References

  10. SciFinder – Substance Details -- Get References

  11. SciFinder – Get References -- Biological Study

  12. SciFinder - Latest Papers With Role of Biological Study for Vancomycin

  13. SciFinder – Limit to Review Papers Refine by Document Type

  14. SciFinder – Removing Duplicate Records of Review Papers “Bread crumb” trail of search query SciFinder includes both CAS and Medline. The same article from core journals are indexed by both CAS and Medline. You can remove duplicate records.

  15. SciFinder – Review Papers after Duplicate Records have been Removed

  16. SciFinder - Categorize In addition to Analyze and Refine, SciFinder has Analyze feature which enables you to browse substances and topics from your search results.

  17. SciFinder – Categorize – View Substances Can select substances from list to refine search

  18. SciFinder – Categorize – View Topics

  19. SciFinder – Categorize – Selected Topic - Methicillin Resistance > Refine Can select topics from list to refine search

  20. SciFinder – Viewing Search Results

  21. SciFinder – Viewing a Full Record (Reference Detail)

  22. SciFinder - Using “Bread Crumb” Trail to Work with All References with Bioactivity in Vancomycin

  23. SciFinder – Which Authors have Published the Most Papers Analyze by Author Name to identify authors who have published the most number of articles. Click on View More button to select individuals.

  24. SciFinder – Analyze by CA Section Title CAS articles are put into one of 80 sections – a broad category that can be used for focusing search results. Medline records and abstract only records in CAS are not given CA Section Titles.

  25. SciFinder - Keep Analysis If you want to save results after doing using Analyze, press Keep Analysis. Result will be added to “bread crumb” trail
