Mobile Health Clinic • Establishment of Mobile Health Clinics is one of the innovative schemes which will provide health coverage to people living in the unreached and underserved deep interior forest and remote villages. • The Mobile Health Clinics have been outsourced to private health care providers. • The Nanjundappa Committee report, comprehensive composite development index ranking of backward, more backward and most backward taluks is taken as criteria for selection of taluks. • The World Bank procurement procedure, selection of consultant, CQS method followed. • At present totally 123 Mobile Health Clinics have been functional under KHSDRP, out of which 23 taluks are relatively developed taluks(having hilly & forestry terian), 21 taluks are backward taluks, 40 taluks are more backward taluks, and 39 taluks are most backward taluks.

CITIZEN HELP DESK & PATIENT COMFORT MONITORING INDEX • Establishment of Citizens Health Help Desk is another innovative scheme which will provide information and guidance to the people on health services in Government Hospitals. These Citizen Help Desks are outsourced to Private Agencies/ NGO’s/Trust. • Patient Comfort Monitoring Index improves and enhance the efficiency of the service providing staff by counseling, confidence building and redressing their grievances by OMR sheet exit interview.

  5. Sourcing in Specialists Progress under Sourcing in Specialists: • As per Govt. Order No. HFW/KHSDRP/Sect-43/2007-08, dated 02.04.2008 & 31.07.2010. • 45 Specialists are deployed in the District & Taluk Level Hospitals at 13 districts under KHSDRP. • Abstract of Sourcing in Specialists • G.O of Sourcing in Specialists • G.O of Enhancement for Sourcing in Specialists • Corrigendum of Specialists

  6. Regional Diagnostic Laboratories • 4 Regional Diagnostic Laboratories (Mandya, Bidar, Bellary & Dharwad) are being taken up by the Directorate of Medical Education and they are attached to Govt. Medical Colleges. • 2 Regional Diagnostic Laboratories (Tumkur and Bagalkot) are outsourced during March 2012. • 1 Regional Diagnostic Laboratory at Chitradurga is attached to District Hospital, Chitradurga since none of the Consultants qualified during outsourcing. • Abstract of Regional Diagnostic Laboratory
