Westminster and the Water Resource Element A WSCMP requires the following information: Reliable capacity of the existing water system components Ground Water Supply under 10-year drought conditions Surface Water Supply under “drought of record” which is 1964 – 1967 drought for MD Water treatment plants Water distribution system Existing and future water demand based on population projections and development Determination of the water supply excess or deficit

    5. Westminster and the Water Resource Element Surface Water Supply Average reliable surface water capacity = 1.05 mgd Ground Water Supply Groundwater reliable capacity = 1.18 mgd Water Supply Total reliable capacity = 2.23 mgd
