Our History • Keele Village dates back over 800 years • Sneyd family estate, first founded on this site in 1580 with the existing Keele Hall built in 1851 • University founded in 1949 • Royal Charter in 1962 • Largest campus in England • Declared a Republic in 1980 • Keele is featured on the UK 'Here and Now' edition of Monopoly (2007), taking the place of Fleet Street

  23. Learning and Teaching We believe in face-to-face learning supported by technology Class contact hours will vary by subject 120 credits of learning per year 1 credit = 10 hours 120 credits = 1,200 hours 1,200 / 30 weeks 40 hours per week

Fees & Funding • £9,000 per year loan, start 2013, average salary • You will pay back an estimated £32,923 over 26 years • After 30 years the remaining debt of £3,009 will be written off • £14,500 per year, start 2013, average salary • You will pay back an estimated £32,923 over 26 years • After 30 years the remaining debt of £29,046 will be written off

Scholarships & Bursaries 2013 • Keele Bursary (unlimited number) • £1,000 pa, Household income below £25,000 • National Scholarship Programme (147) • £3,000 (£2,000 fee reduction + £1,000 cash in year 1 • Excellence Scholarships (unlimited number but excludes Medicine and NHS funded courses) • £2,000 pa for AAA • £1,000 pa for AAB • £ 500 pa for ABB or equivalent level and qualifications
