  2. Disclaimer • Directions are the way I tell you how to be successful. • I expect you to ask questions if you do not understand my directions. • If you follow my directions, you will earn an “A” in the class.

  3. Cornell Notes • You will be taking notes on this presentation • You are responsible for knowing all the information presented • You will be tested on this information

  4. Cornell Notes (format) • Without tearing out the holes, take out a clean sheet of paper. • Format the paper for Cornell Notes (see right)

  5. Cornell Notes (heading) • Write a proper heading at the top of your paper on the right hand side. • Your first and last name should be at the top; both should be on the same line • The date should be under your name, written without any abbreviations (for example-February 7, 2007) • The period should be under the date, written without any abbreviations
