Integrity & Traceability (IAT) Audits • New audit standard devised to conduct a thorough assessment of a manufacturer’s traceability and integrity controls • To provide confidence to customers that these are being managed suitably • The standard also provides a rigorous and thorough assessment of a site’s ability to manufacture products to a set specification • To ensure that suitably robust controls are in place to prevent possible cross contamination. • Devised to ensure that suppliers are producing legally compliant food, free from adulterant or unacceptable contaminants.
