  4. Celebrities are very important in getting the message out about these causes in global health, and providing funds.

  5. Partnership between Bill and Melinda Gates and Bono providing billions for global health.

  6. Gates Foundation assets US $28 billion. Gives away $1 billion a year. Bono works to end African suffering from HIV and AIDS. likes to arrange encounters between people who have no business being in the same room."I'm like a camel. I store up sleep in my hump."

  7. Warren Buffett pledges $37 billion to Gates Foundation more than doubling assetts. Will lead to the growth of worldwide consensus that decent basic health care is a human right that can be realized everywhere. June 26, 2006.

Robert Redford Acquires Rights to documentary 'The Origins of AIDS' Feb.12th, 2005 Sundance Channel has acquired pay television rights to the controversial, award-winning documentary The Origins of AIDS, directed by Peter Chappell and Catherine Peix.   The Origins of AIDS probes one of the most vexing, highly charged areas of AIDS research: how and when the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was introduced to humans. Research has shown that chimpanzees carry simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV), a close relative of HIV. Scientists know that AIDS originated in Africa, and have concluded that at some point SIV crossed over into humans and became HIV.   The lethal contact could have come through food.
