Fruity Summer Smoothie

Fruity Summer Smoothie. This is one of my recipes that I make when my friends come to stay on a warm day. I came up with the idea when I wanted to make a chocolate smoothie but we were out of chocolate, all we had was fruit! So I mixed all the fruit together and this is what I created.

  2. You Need: • ½ Banana • 6 pieces of pineapple • ½ a mango • Passion fruit (only if wanted to) • 2 scoops of yogurt (plain) • 1 table spoon of honey • 1 cup of milk

  3. Materials: • Sharp knife (to cut fruit) • Hand blender (normal blender is fine) • Siv (only if using passion fruit) • Natural sugar (only if wanted to) • Large plastic cup to blend ingredients

  4. Method: • Take skin off the cut in half banana, and chop finely. Place in large plastic mixing cup. • Place pineapple, mango (with skin off) in the cup with banana. • Cut one passion fruit in half and scoop out the inside. Place inside of passion fruit into siv and get all the juice out (repeat with other half) and place in cup with other fruit. • Add the yogurt, milk and honey, into the plastic cup and blend till smooth (if you think it needs to be sweeter add 1 tiny bit of natural sweetener).
