Made to last

Made to last

  • The box is made of polypropylene

  • It’s rigid, reliable and will not crack

  • Tests have shown that it will keep its shape and full function up to 60°C and down to -25°C.

Multifix plus 2 the safest choice for hollow walls

Multifix Plus 2– the safest choice for hollow walls

  • Multifix Plus 2 meets all requirements of the GOST and EN IEC 60670-1 standards

  • Multifix Plus 2 is flame-proof, thus preventing the risk of fire caused by short-circuits

  • 850°C glow-wire tested.

Tested to exceed standards and your demands

Multifix Plus 2– a thoroughly tested installation box

The glow wire test

The glow wire test means that the box must endure +850°C and that flames should go out within 30 seconds.

Sturdy knock-outs

The knock-outs have been tested at +60°C and -25°C. They must be easy to open in all temperatures without causing any sharp edges.

Pull-out force

Wall-mounted fixing devices, including the apparatus screws, must withstand the pull-out force of 100 Newton.

Pressure test

The ball pressure test at +70°C shows how robust the box is. The impression must never be more than 2 millimetres after one hour.

Torque-resistance

The fixing devices of the box must withstand a mechanical torque of three Newtonmetres

Innovations provide speed

  • Ø 10, 16 and 20 mm

  • Suitable for both cables and flexible conduits

  • The knock-outs are easily removed by hand, giving a clean cut

  • No sharp edges and burrs that so often cause injuries.

Fixing claws with multiple functions

Fixing claws with multiple functions

  • The sharpened claw creates a firm grip in hollow board walls

  • The construction provides reversibility

  • If the installation must be adjusted, you can easily remove the box and re-use it, without damaging the wall

  • The claws are made of steel.

Fast and clever screws

Fast and clever screws

  • The screws are “high-speed”,i.e. triple-threaded

  • This will make the assembly three times faster

  • Suitable for power tools.

Docking interface

Docking interface

  • To secure the boxes side by side, use the jointing piece

  • Always 71 mm distance between boxes.

C c 60 mm wiring devices

c/c 60 mm wiring devices

  • The 60 mm fixing centres fit most wiring devices

  • The boxes are delivered with zinc-plated screws.

Thin collar

Thin collar

  • The collar around the box hides acci-dental dents from the hole-making

  • The thin collar also minimizes the gap between the wiring device and the wall.

Anti rotation

Anti-rotation

  • The round boxes have four wings that ensure a perfect grip in all walls

  • They prevent unwanted rotation of the box.

Robust click in cover

Robust click-in cover

  • With cut-outs for screwdriver to avoid damage to the cover when removed

  • The cover has a rugged surface that facilitates writing on it.

IP20 – what does it mean?

IP is short for the International Protection rating, according to the international

standard of IEC 60529. The first digit classifies the degree of protection

against intrusion of solid objects (such as hands, fingers and dust) while the second digit describes the protection against liquids. So IP20 means that the Multifix Plus 2 box is protected from intrusion by objects bigger than 12 mm but not against water, which is perfect inside a building.

  • The box is made of polypropylene

  • It’s rigid enough to endure the installation process in brick walls and will not crack

  • Tests have shown that it will keep its shape and full function up to 60°C and down to -25°C.

Multifix modulo meets gost and en standards

Multifix Modulo– meets GOST and EN standards

  • Multifix Modulo meets all require-ments of the GOST and EN IEC 60670-1 standards

  • Multifix Modulo is flame-proof, thus preventing the risk of fire caused by short-circuits

  • 650°C glow-wire tested.

The glow wire test

The box must endure +650°C, flames should go out within 30 sec.

Two depths

Two depths

  • If the wall is thin, choose the small and shallow 45 mm apparatus box

  • For a thicker wall, or to fit more cables or electronic devices, choose the bigger 60 mm box.

Integrated docking interface and snap-lock

  • Apparatus boxes can easily be horizontally or vertically connected, even if they have different depths

  • Always 71 mm distance between boxes

  • A snaplock at the front of the box firmly holds the boxes together without adding height

  • The installation will still be flush.

IP30 – what does it mean?

IP is short for the International Protection rating, according to the international standard of IEC 60529. The first digit classifies the degree of protection against intrusion of solid objects (such as hands, fingers and dust) while the second digit describes the protection against liquids. So IP30 means that the Multifix Modulo box is protected from intrusion by objects bigger than 2.5 mm, such as tools, wires, etc, but not against water. This is perfect when plastering the box in a correct position.

Mureva surface mounted IP55 boxes

…starts here

For rough and damp environments

For rough and damp environments

  • IP55 classified

  • The box is made of polypropylene

  • Tests have shown that it will keep its shape and full function up to 60°C and down to -25°C.

Mureva fullfills ip55 gost and en standards

Mureva– fullfills IP55, GOST and EN standards

  • Mureva meets all requirements of the IP55, GOST and EN IEC 60670-1 standards

  • Mureva is flame-proof, thus preventing the risk of fire caused by short-circuits

  • 650°C glow-wire tested. The Mureva material survive a 750° C glow wire test.

Tested to exceed standards and your demands

Mureva– tested to endure more than others

Safer than GOST

According to GOST the box must stand a 650° C glow wire test to be safe. The Mureva material survive a 750° C glow wire test.

IP-classification

Testing is performed in

accordance with IEC 60529 using a water jet.

Impact test

Impact test is performed at -25°Cwith an impact energy of 1 Joule.

Protection against

electric shock

A mechanical test finger is used to ensure pro-tection against hazar-dous parts according to IEC 60 670-1.

Cover removal test

Testing is performed to ensure that the cover is easily removable with a tool and impossible to remove by hand.

Mureva boxes are outstanding

Mureva boxes are outstanding

Sometimes electricity is needed where it shouldn’t be installed.

Like in wet or dusty places, or where electricity hasn’t been planned to be from the start.

With Mureva at hand, no job will be too tough!

Mureva boxes ip55 classified

Mureva boxes – IP55 classified

  • IP55 means that the box is protected from intrusion of water jets and dust. That’s perfect in all damp, dusty and tough environments

  • Indoors as well as outdoors.

Drain holes

Drain holes

  • The drain holes are designed for knock-out both from the inside and from the outside

  • Can be opened both before and after the mounting of the box.

Flexible grommets with clear marking

Flexible grommets with clear marking

  • The box has flexible grommets, with a very clear marking

  • Makes it easy to cut out a hole that fits cables or conduits perfectly.

Plenty of space inside

Plenty of space inside

  • Thanks to the smart snap-on cover function, there are no centre screw channels stealing installation space inside the box

  • Let your needs decide how to connect.

Safe screw collar

Safe screw collar

  • Every screw hole is provided with a collar that efficiently prevents the screws from getting into contact with electricity

  • Use the screw collar insulation caps for even more safety.

Smart covers

Smart covers

  • All covers are connected to the body with a string

  • Prevents the cover from getting lost

  • The cover has a smart snap-on function, which eliminates the need of screws

  • To remove the cover you will need a screwdriver.
