  3. 2. Don’t rely on your high school learning strategies • (or lack thereof)

  4. 3. Learn new skills/strategies that will help you do well at Dartmouth

  5. To help you do that: • Your professor/ office hour • Academic Skills Center • Individual academic “coaching” • Active learning strategies • Time management • Tutor Clearinghouse • Peer tutors • Study groups • ASC website • Streaming videos

  6. Learning @ Dartmouth • Fall term only • First Year Students only • Learning strategies and key resources • 14 sessions; Tues and Thurs, 4-5 pm • Enroll at the ASC starting Tuesday, Sept. 21

Learning @ Dartmouth Syllabus Topic Strategic Learning Time Management Notetaking College Reading Strategies D-Plan; First Year Opportunities Staying Healthy & Stress Management Writing College Papers, Essays Research Strategies Who are the Dartmouth Faculty? Off-campus Programs: LSAs/FSPs Sophomore, Junior, & Senior Years at Dartmouth: An Overview Making the Most of Dartmouth

  8. So, • Choose your three academic credit courses • Then enroll in Learning @ Dartmouth • And…Earn one…
