  • ② 자동사 현재분사: 진행중인 동작. boiling water [진행]
  • ③ 자동사 과거분사: fallen leaves=leaves which have fallen[완료]
  • ④ 타동사 과거분사: the injured man=the man who was injured[수동]
      • 한정용법: (대)명사 앞이나 뒤에서 직접 수식.
  • ① 앞에서 수식 : 부사구나 분사의 목적어[보어] 없이 오는 경우
  • Who is the sleeping boy? / He avoided meeting the returned soldier.
  • ② 뒤에서 수식 : 부사구나 분사의 목적어[보어]가 함께 오는 경우
  • Who is the woman sleepingon the bed?
  • the woman that is sleeping [on the bed은 sleeping을 수식]
