  2. C.R.A.P - Color, Repetition, Alignment, & Proximity These four design elements are tools for visually organizing web pages. Proper use can help sites appear coherent, professional, polished, and aesthetically appealing; incorrect use or neglect can render sites messy, confusing, and immature.

  3. Color GOOD: • High contrast for text • Tasteful color schemes • Different (but consistent) colors for titles and subtitles BAD: • Busy backgrounds • Epileptic seizure attacks

  6. Alignment GOOD: • Valign, text-align, and indent to align graphics and text • DIV tags to group items • Graphics (lines, boxes, etc) to organize elements on the page BAD: • Failure to implement the above
