  1. TERRA ROSSA CABERNET SAUVIGNON VINTAGE 2009 Winemaker notes: Deep red colour with bright red hue Dark blueberry fruit aromas with seaweed notes, integrated vanillin French oak and some sweet milk chocolate in this exceptionally complex nose. The palate is, as usual with Coonawarra reds, medium bodied with complex dark fruit, mint, vanillin oak but more complex leather, spicy, lanolin elements, following onto a textured sweet tannin finish. The inclusion of 3% Petit Verdot also adds some extra perfume and complexity to this wine. Deeply complex with a persistent finish of velvety tannins and integrated French oak add further depth to palate.Still very tight and structured, which will develop slowly and improve with careful cellaring. Made for extended cellaring for 15 or more years. Decant before serving. The unique micro climate of Parker vineyards located in the southern part of Coonawarra, being less prone to frost with longer ripening on the vine, impart unique qualities in the wine. Integral to the style and structure is 7 day warm fermentation followed by maceration on skins. Aged in new and one year old French oak, the result is fruit expression and elegance in structure to add complexity and cellaring potential.
