  1. Pretest Results • 11 or better is a decent score. • We will cover content during this year. • Detailed questions or many questions – see me at lunch (may need a pass). • Quick questions I can take now. • I need your papers back after you look over them.

  2. Textbook Distribution • Make sure you bring your I.D. • Please be quiet in the halls. • Return here as soon as you get your book.

  3. Last Night’s Assignment • 1. We’re going to grade #10. Use pen or different color than you did your work with. • 2. After we grade #10, give yourself one point for each problem you completed out of #2-9 and 11,12 (up to 10 points if you completed all). • 3. Write your total over 18 (example 13/18) at the top your assignment. • Make sure your name is on it and turn it into the bin on my desk.

  4. Notes – Solving Letter-Only (Literal) Equations • Example: Solve A = ½ dD+x for D.

  5. To Do • Do all of page 12 on own paper in class. Start page 13 if you have time. • Do page 13 as homework or in class if you have time. • Both are due as one assignment on Monday. • Ask questions from me as often as needed.

  6. Assignment • Now try #7-12 (the rest of the worksheet) on your own. Due tomorrow!
