  2. Description • Long fur covers the body of the gorilla. • Gorillas are the most powerful of all the living primates. • The gorilla can weigh up to 600 pounds.

  3. Habitat • Gorillas habitat is in Africa. • Gorillas live in the central western countries like Democratic Republic. • Gorillas natural habitat covers subtropical forests in Africa.

  4. Gorillas are herbivores eating fruits, leaves, and shoots. • Gorillas can get drunk on bamboo sap. • Much like other animals that feed on plants and shoots they sometimes ingest small insects as well. diet

  5. Additionalfacts • Gorillas are considered highly intelligent. • A few individuals in captivity such as Koko have been taught of sign language.
