  1. NFM.ca Step – by – Step For Agencies nfm = Net Fares Mall or Net Fares Mart or Net Fares Market

  2. Introduction • Different levels of Access • Agencies also have two levels: 1- Control Panel and 2- Staff (to identify booking owners.)

  3. Overview • Agency and Agency Staff Control Panels look alike but have different powers. • Each staff member belongs to an Agency and has her/his profile within that Agency. Mary Jane ABC Travel Juan Agency ABC Travel Tarzan Ted Jim Teresa

  4. Agent Log-in • If you log-in as Agent/Agency, you are Powerful. • It’s the Agency Control Panel. • You can’t book with this log-in • We’ll talk about this “Do not show US Carriers flights via the USA” later.

  5. Create Agency Staff • It takes about a minute or less to create a log-in ID for each of your staff • When they log-in with their Unique ID, their booking email notifications will be Unique (officeIDStaffID) in the Subject line of email notifications of bookings. • For example: 1853Maria This combination does not happen in real life. Use it to filter and redirect emails

  6. Agency Staff logged in • System reminds you if you’re logged in as Agent (Superman -Agency) or AgentStaff (Superstaff). • Please do not try to book if you’re in as Agent. (You can’t.) • Log-in as Staff i.e., Maria or Joe or Superstaff

  7. Let’s start Booking • We all know: From, To, Dates, OW, RT or OpenJaw. • All the rest is pretty self-explanatory except: Do not show US Carrier flights via the USA • This means that the engine will ignore any itinerary which has any of the following Carriers in any segment(s): AA CO DL UA US (the majors) Multi segments and itineraries with stops “coming soon”

  8. Fare Quote (FQ) Pages • My Request is recapitulated • I had requested NOT to see US Carrier flights via the USA. Those fares are grayed out. Notice QR is grayed out on the second line? In this fare’s routing there’s an American Carrier. • Only each Airline’s lowest fare and FareBasis displays if no specific Airline has been selected. If user selects an Airline, then ALL upsells for that Airline will shows. Each Fare Basis displays ONLY once. You will not see 1,186 results from page 1 to page 666 Click on a FB to read the fare’s Rules

  9. Let’s Select A Fare Basis and Carrier from the previous screen • FareBasis and Carrier Selected then…

  10. It is a Shopping Site (mostly)… • Your original choice was AF at $yyy • The engine alerts you that there “exists” a lower fare with AC at $xxx • You can select either one. • Had your original selection been the lowest found in the FQ lists, then you would have gone directly to the booking page

  11. It is a Shopping Site (but we’re not done yet)… • Your original choice was LX at $888 • The engine alerts you that there “exists” a lower fare with AF at $788 • You can select either one. • But….. the lowest LX available ($954) is higher than the original LX preference ($888) by more than x%, so we offer Calendar Shopping: Searching within +/- 3 days for availabilities with your preferred Airline LX (in this case) or with Any Airline at All (??)

  12. Calendar Shopping LX Original dates: are out:07jul in:15jul This is a Calendar Search for best LX available fares within the 49 days matrix. The best available fares are shown with the yellow background And, as you can see, LX does not operate this route daily. These fares include taxes.

  13. Calendar Shopping. Any Airline(s)?? Original dates: are out:07jul in:15jul This is a Calendar Search for best available fares (taxes included) with any Airline(s) within the 49 days matrix. The lowest available fare is shown in the yellow background cell(s).. LH also shows a few competitive fares. Hover the mouse over a cell, a proprietary FLIFO (details) pops up

  14. Let’s book Side-by-side Outbound and Inbound flights or connections are shown side-by-side for easier selection

  15. Let’s book.I select any outbound and it freezes until I select an inbound. If I want to select a different outbound, I just “unfreeze” the pane by clicking on View all Options again.

  16. I now select an I/b You will see that my o/b was part of a return trip of $954 + taxes while my selected I/b was part of a return trip of $1085 + taxes. I like these schedules……. The price will be verified and recalculated once I click on Book Select Flights. Before Booking, I can always go from one column to the other (and change selection if I want) by clicking on the [[ View All Options Again ]] button.

  17. Flights have been selected and booked • Enter Pax Data • System will let you knowwhich items are mandatory, • and will “remind” youabout some that “might”be needed, such as DOB.

  18. Delivery and FOP • Quite self-explanatory • CC Payment can be applied immediately • Pay later means just that. Agent has to apply payment by the option date that will be signified. • If FOP will beAgency Cheque, please click on… Pay later …

  19. PNR Created • Record Locator obtained (and an internal ID created). • A notification email will be sent. • And you can request a passive (YK) PNR to be created and released to your own Sabre PCC
