  7. AAH sponsored Awards • Originally just one award • Hospital Pharmacy Technician of the Year • Did not reflect APTUK’s cross-sector role • Introduction of a Primary Care award • Then introduction of a Professional award

  8. AAH Sponsored Awards • Criteria- must be pharmacy technician project, written and submitted by the Pharmacy Technician • Winners will present at APTUK conference

  9. Secondary Care Award Previous West Midlands winner- Lorraine Edwards This year- Joint winners: Sarah Goman and Susan Edwards- Valindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff • Introduction of An Oral Vinorelbine Education and Toxicity Assessment Service By Senior Pharmacy Technicians

  10. Secondary Care Award • Prize- £1000.00 educational bursary • One year’s APTUK membership • Place at APTUK conference

Primary Care Award • Open to all working in Community Pharmacy, PCT or Dispensing Practices • Prize- as for Secondary care • This year’s winner- Joanne Widdowson-Wild • Wicker Pharmacy, Sheffield • How can we improve recording to provide an evidence base for signposting requests, as part of the community pharmacy contractual framework?

  12. Professional Award • Opportunity to nominate a colleague • Recognise contribution to the profession • Prize- £500.00 educational Bursary plus one year’s APTUK membership and place at Conference • This year’s winner- Nicola Foulds, Manchester Branch Chairman
