Scouts, join us and earn the Recycling Works Patch and earn most requirements of the Metalworking Merit Badge! • Saturday, April 30th, 9am-2pm, 1045 Lancaster Ave, Columbia, PA • Structured Programs to earn the patch and badge, badges pre-paid by Frank Sahd Salvage Center if your Troop/Pack registers by April 15th. • Bring a friend as this is a community event! • Aluminum Can Contest—money for your Troop! • Bring in your aluminum cans and get paid a special Earth Day price per pound and be entered into a random drawing for a $50 prize. A $100 prize goes to the individual or organization with the most cans! • Rita’s Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Passport Program • Learn about efforts to make a cleaner earth, ranging from demonstrations on solar, wind and geothermal power to composting, fluid regeneration and remelting! Also see how we can better interact with nature and learn how to turn recycled materials into works of art!
