AREA 3: CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGES OF YOUNG EUROPEANS AIMS OF THE AREA • Mobility of young people with the aim of exchanges focusing on developing the concept of European citizenship, in various fields, social strata and regions of Europe. • Mobility of young secondary school and university educators • Mobility of students from partner nations

AREA 3: CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGES OF YOUNG EUROPEANS LEAD PARTNER OF AREA Presentation of lead partner • Entities negotiating cooperation so far include Stojan High School in Velehrad, Arcibishop’s High School in Kroměříž and the Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology at Palacký University in Olomouc

AREA 3: CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGES OF YOUNG EUROPEANS ACTIVITIES Description of activities • We anticipate deepening of cooperation based on existing agreements (especially in the Erasmus exchange program), mainly however deepening of contacts with institutions close to the Cyril and Methodius theme • Examples of use of residencies: foreign study with emphasis on the Cyril and Methodius theme, preparation of final theses and specialized texts, residencies in institutions, which are not schools (museums, etc.) • Cooperation with secondary schools from partner countries with an offer for participation in civic cultural activities (International Spiritual Music Festival, etc.), chance for exchange of experiences in the area of media and film with the required theme (contest Velehrad Movie Camera, School of Media and Film, etc.), natural dialog in a foreign language (language summer school)

AREA 3: CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGES OF YOUNG EUROPEANS OUTCOMES Description of outcomes • Realized foreign residencies, defense of theses, publishing of specialized texts (publications may contribute to further parts of the project – ex. popularization) • Exchange of students between schools of partner countries, outcomes relating to individual ongoing activities, ex. joint concerts of school choirs, participation in language school, photo processing, short films and animation used for popularization

  7. AREA 3: CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGES OF YOUNG EUROPEANS TARGET GROUP Description of target group • The main group for CMTF are university students and academics • Secondary school youth aged 15 – 19 and teaching staff

  8. AREA 3: CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EXCHANGES OF YOUNG EUROPEANS COSTS AND FUNDING SOURCES Description of costs and funding sources • For foreign mobility of university students and academics: Erasmus program, or other scholarship programs • Funds supporting youth activities
