  1. Passion for God’s Word ——2Timothy 3:14-17

  2. Psalm19:7-10:“The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.”

  5. Why do we need to read the Bible?(Verse 15-17) The Bible is inspired by God; the Bible is God-breathed; The usefulness of the Bible: teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness;

  6. Why do we need to read the Bible?(Verse 15-17) • The results of knowing the Bible: 1. The Bible leads us to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ; 2. The man of God may be equipped for doing good work; 3. The Bible as our standard for what we believe and practice; 4. Understanding what the Bible teaches so that we can avoid false teachings.

  7. Our attitude toward the Bible: • Continuing; • Having a heart to love the Bible

  8. Applying our attitude toward the Bible in our daily life: • How do we read and study the Bible? 1. Daily reading: 3-4chapters/day; 2. Daily devotion: SOAP 3. Attending church every Sunday; 4. Participating in small group.
