  12. Grading DiDA units and levels are graded:Pass, Credit, Merit, Distinction. Each unit is marked out of 42 raw marks. Pass – 18, Credit – 24 Merit – 30, Distinction – 36 At Level 2 the equivalencies with GCSE are: Distinction: A*, Merit: A, Credit: B and Pass: C. At Level 1 the equivalencies with GCSE are: Distinction: C, Merit: D, Credit: E and Pass: F/G.
