  5. 1. Scoping report – the report was a quick assessment of existing literature related to land issues and natural disasters. One year ago, in May 2007, we met with some of you on this. • Seven case studies were prepared to inform the guidelines. 3. Based on the scoping paper and seven case studies we prepared an annotated outline of the guidelines. • An expert group meeting was held on 21-23 April 2008 (Geneva), bringing together the case study authors and other experts to review in detail the guidelines. A good mix of humanitarian and land experts provided comments and suggestion for the guidelines. Inputs will be inserted and we expect to have a draft version of the guidelines available for peer review in June/July 2008. http://www.gltn.net/post_disaster
