  4. Objectives • To build a working digital security system • To learn more about electrical engineering and the binary code • To become better collaborators Team NSR: NSR Security System

  5. Introduction Our team is creating a new digital security system that runs on a 4 digit binary lock (a lock that runs on 0 and 1 for the imputing number). Team NSR: NSR Security System

  6. Problem Our team is to design, test and manufacture a low cost prototype digital security system. As electrical engineers, we have to design the system and build it on a breadboard. To complete the task, we will need a basic understanding of digital design principals. Team NSR: NSR Security System

  7. Limitations/Restrictions • Limitations • 1 AND chip, 1 OR chip, and 1 NOT chip • Restrictions • 4 bits (16 combinations) but only 4 codes can be correct • Goals: working security system, learn more about EE, and better collaborators Team NSR: NSR Security System
