  2. “A Blessing” • Read “A Blessing” on pg. 405 • Comprehension and Analysis Questions: • What is the setting of the poem? • What does the speaker stop to watch? • Describe the speaker’s feelings as he watches? • How do the ponies seem to feel about their visit? • What does one of the ponies do? • Describe the speaker’s feelings towards the end of the poem. • List all examples of imagery that you can find in this poem. Provide the example plus the sense being triggered. • When providing examples from poetry, include line numbers in parenthesis after your text.
