  1. TENDER BRIEFING SESSION - NMISA (14-15) T0026 NEW HARDNESS SYSTEM Non- compulsory All suppliers can submit proposals The last page of the TOR needs to be completed and signed

  2. EVALUATION PROCESS • TWO STAGE EVALUATION PROCESS • Stage 1: Technical specifications • Refer to table 3.1 to 3.4 of the TOR • Bidder needs to score 60% to move to stage 2 2. Stage 2: Pricing and B-BBEE Status • B-BBEE certificate to be valid on the closing date to score points • 90/10 preference points system to utilised

  3. PRICING • Bidders to complete SBD3.1 • Delivery; installation; system & computer hardware; software and on-site training • Final price to include VAT • Price to be separated from the technical proposal

  4. NOTES TO BIDDERS • Two envelope system to be utilised, price and functionality to be separated • 1 original + two copies of the technical proposal to be submitted • All envelopes to be clearly marked: incl. Bid no. and bid name

  5. BID SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS • All SBD documents to be completed in full • Supplier registration form • Original valid tax clearance certificate • General Conditions of Contract (Each page to be initialled)

  6. CLOSING • Bid to be valid for 120 days • Closing date: Friday the 24th October 2014 at 11:00 • No late bids will be considered • Bidder to sign register at reception when submitting the bid • All enquiries to be addressed to SCM: Ms. B.
