Authorize a Requisition • Once a requisition has been created the HR staff member assigned to that Department will get an email to notify them that a requisition has been created and their action is required. • The requisition can be found under the Requisition menu, approved section (this requisition is waiting to be approved). • The ‘show approval detail’ link on this page will provide the approval history of the requisition. • Click the ‘Authorize’ link to change the status of the requisition.

  4. Requisition Status Options • When authorizing a requisition there are five (5) status options to select from: • On Hold – need more information before processing • Open – ready to proceed with recruitment • Filled – candidate has been hired for this requisition • Cancelled – not processed • Approved – waiting to be approved • When the status on the requisition changes, the creator of the requisition (OHC User) can locate the requisition in the different sections on their dashboard screen.
