  1. Earth’s Core The inner core is made of iron and nickel. Gravity is what pulls people towards Earth. The outer core is molten. The inner core is about 9,800 degrees. The outer core is about 6,800 degrees.

  3. Solar system Sun is another word for star. It takes about 28 days for the moon to fully orbit Earth. Planets orbit the sun. The solar system was first a dense mass of dust. The moon orbits Earth.

  4. Seasons Earth is spinning every 24 hours, which results in one rotation. In NY state the longest period of daylight is in June. Seasons are caused by Earth getting farther away from the Sun.

  5. Plants Animals eat plants and humans eat animals, making the life cycle. Plants need sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water to live. Plants produce food such as tomatoes.

  6. Bees After people collect beehives, they put the beehives on a wheel, they then spin it really fast, and the honey collectors collect the honey.
