  2. Select Advanced Reporting from the Report Store

  3. Choose the report you wish to access

  4. Start at the main page of the report

  5. Click on the magnifying glass to view the columns that are searchable

  6. Select “State”, type “Kansas”, and click the “Go” button

  7. The “Action” menu contains useful interactive reporting tools

  8. The “Select Columns” option allows you to choose what columns are displayed in the report

  10. The “Filter” option allows you to modify the report query through the use of operators and expressions

  12. The “Sort” option allows you to choose how you want the data displayed in the report

  14. The “Control Break” option allows you to organize the data by grouping results into sections

  16. The “Highlight” option allows you to define a filter. The rows that meet the filter criteria display as highlighted

  18. The “Compute” option allows you to add computed columns to a report

  20. The “Aggregate” option allows you to preform mathematical computation against a column in the report

  22. The “Chart” option allows you to graph your selected results

  24. The “Group By” option allows you to customize your report view by grouping, aggregating and sorting columns

  26. The “Download” option allows you to download the current result set of the report into an Excel CSV file

  28. Interactive reporting tools such as search, sort, select columns and control break also exist within each column
