  1. “Police arrest 'raging anti-Semite' in Kansas Jewish center shootings”

  2. A Missouri man, with a long history of anti-Semitism, is suspected of killing a boy and his grandfather outside a Jewish community center in Kansas City (KS) and a woman at a Jewish assisted living facility nearby. In all, the gunman shot at five people, none of whom he's believed to have known. While police stopped short of labeling the Sunday attacks a hate crime until they were further along in their investigation, the suspect -- Frazier Glenn Miller -- is the founder and former leader of the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and the White Patriot Party. The 73-year-old Miller, who also goes by Frazier Glenn Cross, faces charges of premeditated first-degree murder. The shootings took place a day before the start of Passover, the major Jewish spring festival.

  3. In Other News AUGUSTA, Ga. — He's won that second major, and do not forget the adage: Anyone can win one, but it takes a great golfer to win two or more. A Florida woman is recovering after being attacked by a bear who ambled into her open garage and sifted through her garbage cans in search of food, sheriff's deputies said Sunday. The woman said as many as five bears "of various sizes" were rooting through her trash when she walked into the garage, Seminole County Sheriff's Lt. Pete Brenenstuhl said. A black bear "dragged her from inside the garage out into her driveway," leaving her with scrapes and cuts to her face and legs, Brenenstuhl said. The woman escaped and ran back into her home, where her husband called 911, he said. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Unbelievable. That's how a police captain described the case. A 39-year-old woman in Utah is in custody, accused of murder, after authorities found the remains of seven infants at a home where she used to live.
