Reading at school • Children have many opportunities for reading in school. • Reading is assessed regularly by teachers. • Children will be heard read at least once a week in school (individually). • We aim to change books up to three times a week (if read and signed at home). • We have a variety of reading scheme books for children to read and enjoy.

Family Workers PARENT WORKSHOPS Reading Writing Maths OTHER EVENTS • Parents new to the school – welcome meeting – Monday 16th September 3:45 – 4:45pm • Learning Log club starts Thursday 26th September 3:30 – 4:30pm in the family room. • Macmillan coffee morning - Friday 27th September 9am – 11am in the KS1 hall.
