  2. What are Dust Devils? • Dust Devils are a Whirlwind of air Into Which dust and Particles get caught up Making it visible.

  3. What Conditions Cause DustDevils • Dust Devils occur when movement created by large trucks passing over a hotter surface. They also occur in clear skies and light conditions when the ground can warm the air temperature well above the temperature above the ground.

  4. Who long does a Dust Devils typically last? • They only last a few minutes but can reform repeatedly for hours. This means when one dies another starts back us.

  5. When do Dust Devils happen? • They occur in Summer and Autumn at dry, Desert areas.

  6. What kind of damage do Dust Devils cause? • They do cause damage but the damage is not very serious.

  7. Here are some more interesting facts about Dust Devils… • They are no where as powerful as Tornados. • They spin no faster than 25 miles per hour • Some Dust Devils can spin up to 75 miles per hour • Dust Devils have no certain rotation either clockwise or counterclockwise.
