  1. Megan A. Hunter, O.D. Dr. Megan Hunter graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2002. She completed a residency in ocular disease at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL in 2003 and then joined the staff at the Miami VA Medical Center. An Illinois native she decided to return to Illinois in 2006 in order to raise her family. She was thrilled to join the staff at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in February 2007. Her responsibilities include direct patient care, consultation with residents and students and research. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and an examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
