  2. This week, we are reviewing the parts of speech in a final bout for the bracket championship TCAP review game we have been playing. TCAP REVIEW

  3. You have been learning about the parts of speech since you were in 1st grade. It's time to put your knowledge from the past seven years into action and show me, and your classmates, what you know. Since the 1st grade…

  4. You will be divided into groups (no, you don't get to choose them). • Your group will be responsible for a particular part of speech. Each of your group members will tackle one specific function of that part of speech. You will create a pre-test, a class presentation to include one powerpoint, one practice activity, and one homework assignment, as well as one post-test. Yay, group work!

  5. Your powerpoint presentation must include the following: • A definition of your part of speech • Specific examples of your part of speech • A funny/catchy/silly way to remember your part of speech POWERPOINT EXPECTATIONS

  6. Your pre-test and post-test must include the following: • FIVE multiple choice questions about your part of speech that align with what you are presenting. Make Your Own Test…like a boss

  7. Your overall GROUPpresentation must meet all of the following criteria: • Be no less than 10 minutes and no more than 20. • Include a catchy/funny/silly way to remember your part of speech. • Include pre-test and post-test • Include group practice • Include individual practice • homework Group Presentation Requirements
