  2. Method Equipment needed • sound meter • alarm • air, bubble wrap • foam, cotton wool, foam rubber

  3. Equipment Foam rubber Cotton wool Foam Bubble wrap Alarm Sound meter

  4. Method • Make a sound wave using the alarm clock • Use a sound meter( at the other end of the room)to measure the sound in dB one at a time. • Put the material over the sound meter and measure the sound. • Record the results in a table.

  7. Conclusion The cotton wool is the best at blocking out the sound.
