  24. Manufacturing Lab • 9 people have been assigned to each lab • Equipment used: Saw Mill Drill Lathe Hand Tools • You are expected to attend the lab in which you are enrolled • You will be permitted to attend another lab only at the request of another faculty member or coop staff

  25. Lab Rules • 1. Safety Glasses MUST be worn at all times • 2. Good shoes with leather soles - no sandals • 3. Do not wear loose fitting clothes in the lab • 4. No horseplay • 5. Professional conduct including language • 6. Report any unsafe conditions to your TA • 7. Do not approach someone who is working on a machine from his or her blind side • 8. Identify dangers associated with a machine before you run it. • 9. If you break something report it to the TA immediately • 10. Clean up before you leave. • 11. You will be issued material for one project. If you make a mistake on a part you can get additional material and machine another part after you have completed all other components of the project • 12. Have a great experience
