  4. Quote the Quotation Pick a juicy, meaningful quotation that tells us a lot about a character or situation. Lindo Jong tells Waverly, “So you think your mother is this bad” (Tan 201).

  5. Quote the Quotation Lindo Jong tells Waverly, “So you think your mother is this bad” (Tan 201). Speech tag tells reader who is speaking
