  3. INDIVIDUAL SPEAKING • Articulation • Clarity • Eye Contact • Mannerisms • Poise • Use of the Power point • Volume

  4. VISUAL POWERPOINT • Consistent formatting • Stylistically pleasing • Readable text • Key words and phrases

  5. GROUP COLLABORATION • Requires ongoing collaboration • Group Work sometimes neglects true collaboration Then what does true collaboration look like? Collaborators in a group: • Delegate little tasks, not big ones • Meet regularly to communicate and share resources • Provide feedback and input every step of the process • Practice and rehearse beforehand

CONTENT & ACCURACY • Research a historical or cultural topic related to The Kite Runner • Explain the topic in depth to give your peers clear background understanding about the topic, • Illustrate how this topic is related to The Kite Runner • Topic Options: Sunni Muslim Shi’a (Shiite) Muslim Hazara people Daoud Khan Saur Revolution

  8. DUE DATE • In Class: Tuesday, April 3 • If you are conveniently absent, you will write a paper on the topic and present your findings on your own the next class period • Make-up paper and presentation must be completed and ready to turn in at the beginning of the NEXT CLASS… No exceptions.
