  2. PROCESS Brainstorming session 1: 1st idea for project CD closet which memorizes user preferences in genres and moods with LEDs, sensors and a touchscreen. Disadvantage: Browsing experience is lost. Too complicated.

  3. PROCESS Brainstorming session 2: 2nd idea for project: CD closet which will show front and back covers of CDs. Decorate element in the room. Expandable.

  4. OUTCOME “Pacman” style cd closet Advantages: -covers of CDs are easier visible -manual (rotating) selection -stackable: pillar on a socket -ambient lighting in reaction to music

  5. VISION CD picking ritual remains unchanged. Easy browsing and viewing of CD covers. Decorative element in (living)room. Expanding your music experience. User customization (stackable design).

  6. REFLECTION Too much brainstorming: goals of project unclear. Division of tasks must be better. More discussion individual tasks. Good team work. Late in sketching phase. More time was needed for improving the prototype.
