What is it? • Modified version of football, played on a smaller field, with less gear. • Women were originally outfitted in lingerie but now wear a “sports bra and booty shorts” • Originated as a super bowl half time special. It was pay per view for those who wished not to watch the concert in 2009. • Lingerie bowls occurred from 2004-2009, and in 2009 a 10 team league formed.
