    2. Session description: The presentation will focus on how CAMP provides comprehensive services and how program strategies are implemented to assist migrant English learners in college. Presenters will discuss important tools needed on to prepare and retain students in college, address the issue of English and Math remediation through a study skills course, program eligibility, documentation, and collaboration with Migrant Education Programs.

    4. CAMP: CSU Long Beach Summer Bridge EOP collaboration Mandatory tutoring  min 1 hour per class each week One on one tutoring at the Learning Assistance Center paid by CAMP Study skills course taught by CAMP Counselor Individual Learning Plan Sophomore Transition Program end of the first year

CAMP: CSU Bakersfield Summer Residential Program – English Course & Tutoring (English Courses utilized EAP Modules used in high Kern High School District) Remediation (Average 85% to 95% of CAMP students enter the CSUB required to take English Remediation courses) Academic Advising focused on ensuring students complete Remediation English Level Courses, prior at the end of the completion of the first year of study Critical for CAMP students to complete English Remediation Level courses, per Executive Order 665 CAMP Tutored hired to assist CAMP students in developing writing skills Collaborative with Title V Program – Jumpstart Program & Enrollment Management Early Start Program – Accelerated courses to address English Remediation Issue CAMP success rate of English Remediation courses 95% to 98 % completion rate
