Let not the waves of the ocean scare you Let not the thorns of the forest discourage you Don’t quit because of the beasts you might face As you struggle up the tedious mountain slopes. Fix your eyes on the radiance of the bright future Hidden behind the mountain but lighting the clouds Above all, lean on God who is the source of strength And depend on His word –the lamp for the journey. Be not like Terah, Abram’s father (Gen 11:31&32) Who left Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the Land of Canaan But settled along the way at Haran, where he lived & died.
